Helvetia Verde rises in Dubai as DHG breaks ground for 108-unit tower
Construction milestone marks start of residential development phase
DUBAI – DHG Properties has officially commenced construction on its second residential high-rise in Dubai with the groundbreaking of Helvetia Verde in Meydan Horizon.
The development marks a significant step in the company’s expanding footprint across the UAE real estate sector.
Designed as a 20-storey residential tower, the project is scheduled for handover in Q1 2028. With piling and shoring works now underway, construction activity has moved into its first phase, signalling steady progress on site.
The milestone also comes as 60% of the project’s units have already been sold, reflecting strong early demand.
Helvetia Verde
Helvetia Verde will feature 108 residences spread across a built-up area of 21,807 square metres, offering a carefully curated mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The tower also includes a limited selection of garden residences and exclusive penthouses positioned on the upper floors, delivering panoramic views towards Downtown Dubai and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.
With only three to seven units per floor, the development has been designed to prioritise privacy and exclusivity within a high-rise urban setting. The architectural approach focuses on clean lines and modern elegance, contributing a distinctive silhouette to the emerging Meydan Horizon skyline.
Design
Positioned within the wider Meydan Horizon master development, Helvetia Verde sits in a district envisioned as a future live-work-play hub. The surrounding area is set to feature a lagoon, landscaped parks, shaded pedestrian pathways, cafés, dining venues and retail spaces integrated into a waterfront environment. Connectivity is also expected to improve significantly, with planned transport infrastructure including future metro links enhancing access across Dubai. According to the developer, this combination of lifestyle amenities and long-term connectivity underpins the district’s rising appeal among end-users and investors alike.
DHG Properties’ leadership highlighted the groundbreaking as part of its broader UAE expansion strategy, positioning the Helvetia brand in key growth corridors across the city. The company’s first Dubai project, Helvetia Residences in Jumeirah Village Circle, is approaching handover, while its third development on Dubai Islands is scheduled to break ground at the end of May. Collectively, the three projects represent approximately Dh 1.3 billion in development value, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in the emirate’s residential market.
Meydan Horizon’s positioning near major future infrastructure corridors is expected to further strengthen long-term demand. The district’s combination of natural surroundings and planned urban density places it among Dubai’s emerging residential destinations as development momentum continues to build.
